Colebrook Historical Society Gathering

The Colebrook Historical Society will host a “Friday Night Gathering” on October 17^th from 7 to 9 PM.  There will be a special presentation by the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History – “Witches in Connecticut”. Museum Educator, Annie O’Brien, will tell the harrowing story of witches in Colonial New England.  The trials and executions of witches in Connecticut predated the more famous Salem witch trials by over 40 years.  After the presentation Ms. O’Brien will take questions from the audience. The CHS is located at the intersection of Routes 183 and 182A in Colebrook Center.  For further information contact Carol Lord at 860-738-8244.
