Quilts that Care Meeting

Quilts that Care, Inc., a nonprofit organization, makes and donates quilts to cancer patients at 26 Connecticut facilities, will meet from 12:30 to 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 1^st, at the Litchfield Community Center, Route 202, in Litchfield. Volunteers of all skill levels including non-sewers are welcome. Volunteers to assist with fundraising, grant writing and corporate sponsorships are needed. Fabric, sewing notion and monetary donations are also welcome. The Quilts that Care mission is to “wrap cancer patients and their families in comfort and hope, one quilt at a time.” For information, call Deb at 475-263-2442.
