The Torrington Library is hosting a program; “Eating for Wellness: Nutrition Basics for a Healthy You”Thursday, April 2nd at 6pm. It will cover the foundations of good nutrition and how everyday food choices impact overall health. You’ll learn about balanced meals, key nutrients, portion sizes, and simple strategies to support energy, heart health, and long-term wellness.. Free Blood Pressure and Blood Glucose Screenings Available before and after the presentation. Presented by Carla Angevine- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist- Regional Director Community Health- Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. Register at Torrington Library dot org.
