Empty Bowls Event

Empty Bowls is an international grassroots initiative focused on addressing food insecurity. The Community Kitchen of Torrington is having its 16^th Annual Empty Bowls event Thursday, March 19^th from 5 to 7:30 PM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 837 Charles Street in Torrington.  Cost for the meal only: $10; Meal with a bowl is $20.  Local restaurants and caterers donate a variety of soups and breads, and local schools and artists provide the ceramic bowls, available to purchase.
