FISH Winter Coat Drive Donation Period

It’s time to search your home for new or gently-used coats and other warm winter-wear for those in need among us.

‘FISH’ of Northwest Connecticut’s 11^th annual winter coat drive – with 5 drop-off points – runs now through Tuesday, November 11^th. FISH Executive Director Dierdre Dicara says the need for warm winter clothing for all ages is higher than ever, with a special focus on snowsuits, jackets & boot for children. last year’s effort collected over 17-hundred winter clothing items, with 750 people attending the give-away. for drop-off points call (860)482-7300. The coat give-away & bag-lunch, for anyone in need, is Saturday, November 15^th, 10am to 2pm at St. Peter’s Church Hall, 107 East Main, Torrington.
