A Celebration of Community and History
Thomaston is proud to celebrate its 150th Anniversary with a grand parade, a festive
occasion bringing together residents and visitors to honor the town’s storied history and
community spirit.
Event Details
The parade is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 28th, starting at 2:00 PM.
Everyone is invited to take part in the day’s joyous activities and cheer on the
participants.
Parade Lineup
All participants are required to gather for the lineup on Route 254/Northfield Road. To
ensure a smooth start, participants must be in position by 1:30 PM. Signs will be placed
at each designated lineup spot to guide participants to their positions.
Parade Route
The parade will traverse a scenic route through Thomaston’s main streets, offering
delightful views for both participants and spectators. The route is as follows:
Starting on Route 254/Northfield Road
Turning left onto South Main Street
Continuing to Main Street
Proceeding along to High Street and turning left
Concluding at the Center School and Town Hall Parking Lots
Post-Parade Festivities
After the parade, the celebrations will continue with a Food Truck Event and a Band
Concert, running from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. While there will be a cost for food truck
offerings, the band concert is free for all attendees to enjoy. We are reminding you to
bring your chairs and blankets to the field so you can enjoy the festivities.
